Co-Founder & Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Aero Pediatrics
Courtney Frieze, DNP, PNP-BC, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner, wife, and mom of 4 living in the Mesa area. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Arizona, focusing on primary care for pediatric patients. She has cared for hundreds of children from infancy through adolescence for common concerns and illnesses. Prior to becoming a provider, Courtney was a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nurse for more than eight years at Phoenix Children’s Hospital as well as within the Banner NICU network. Caring for the most fragile of infants, she accumulated a rich skill set that spans from newborn feeding and developmental care to recognizing newborn-specific health conditions. Alongside her clinical practice, Courtney also spent three years teaching as a faculty member at her alma mater, the University of Arizona College of Nursing. In her free time, she loves playing board games with her husband and friends, biking, and camping with family. She and her family also enjoy caring for their seven chickens and gargoyle gecko named Roy. Courtney looks forward to partnering with your family to ensure optimal care, guidance, and personalized support at every stage of your child's growth.

At Aero Pediatrics, we understand how frustrating it can be to load all the kids into the car in the middle of a busy day just to wait in a crowded waiting room and experience a rushed visit.
Aero offers a different approach.
We combine evidence-based pediatric care with home visits, direct provider communication, longer appointments, and continuity with a clinician who actually gets to know your child.
The goal is convenience paired with a strong provider relationship, which is why we intentionally limit the size of our practice.
Our Care Model
Aero Pediatrics is a cash-pay pediatric practice.
Membership allows Aero to operate outside many of the constraints of traditional insurance-based primary care.
Rather than billing insurance for each membership visit, families pay a predictable monthly membership fee.
This allows the practice to focus on maintaining a smaller patient panel and providing a more personal care experience.
Aero Membership is not health insurance.
Families should maintain appropriate insurance for emergency care, hospitalization, specialists, imaging, prescriptions, and other services outside Aero.
